In March we marked the one-year anniversary of WFH since the Covid-19 pandemic began, and celebrated a successful month full of milestones, growth and lessons. Here are some of our top highlights from the month:

1: Celebrating 1 MILLION views

After designing a suite of Dylan the Dragon GIFs for our client Principality Building Society in February, we were ecstatic to see that our GIFs reached more than one million views in March.

Up and down the country the GIFs with Dylan wearing traditional Welsh hats, waving Welsh flags and playing rugby were shared on Instagram by people honouring St David’s Day and cheering on the Welsh rugby team as they went on to win the Six Nations.

We’re excited to see where we can take Dylan next as we push towards the next million views!

2: Growing our team

Our new office manager, Emma Stephens, joined the BrandContent team in March bringing with her over 22 years of experience within the creative communications industry.  She will be working closely with our CEO, Sharon Flaherty, and creative director, James Cuff, supporting them on new business, finance, HR and will also have a particular focus on our internal systems and leading the development of our company culture.

3: Getting more from LinkedIn

This month our editor, Chris Marshall, shared his expertise on LinkedIn for businesses in his latest thought leadership piece. As well as emphasising the importance of not underestimating the platform, Chris highlighted the top five key considerations to make sure LinkedIn is fully utilised, from tapping into your employee network to paying for advertising.

4: Kicking things off with our new client

In March we kicked off working with our new client, Veygo.

Veygo offers learner driver and temporary car insurance, and is passionate about changing the world of mobility, by providing flexibility for people’s lifestyles. We’re on board to support with their PR efforts, and within the first couple of weeks of working together, we’ve landed national coverage for our newsjacking comments. We’re also working on a new investigation for them which is sure to hit headlines when we launch. Watch this space!

5: Guess who’s back…

We’d like to wish a warm welcome back to our CEO, Sharon Flaherty, who returned from maternity leave at the beginning of the month.

We’re so happy to have Sharon back, and have already been hearing lots about her plans for the future of BrandContent which we can’t wait to be able to share!
