How do we sum up March 2020? Despite everything that has happened, we’re proud of what we achieved: adjusting to life WFH, getting loads of coverage for our clients, and using our spare time to help organisations that need extra support.
1: Buy one, leave some free!
We responded to Labour’s call for creative professionals to use social media to help stop panic-buying. Our approach was to reimagine a popular supermarket tagline and ask shoppers to ‘buy one, leave some free’.
2: Sharing our know-how
Being in self-isolation hasn’t prevented senior account manager, Laura Jones, and head of business growth & impact, Rachel Besenyei, from sharing their expertise. They both delivered webinars for the Content Marketing Association (CMA), safely in the comfort of their own homes, to a number of budding PR professionals looking to find out more about digital PR and newsjacking with Twitter.
3: Putting our clients in the headlines
We received over 170 pieces of coverage for just one client which has been doing great things to support the NHS during this difficult time.
It’s just one example of the press coverage we’ve achieved for our clients in a very busy month.
4: Bringing services to life
At the start of the month, we partnered with Consignor, shipping software experts, to create a two-minute animation to showcase the range of services it offers to its customers.
Timelines were tight, so we worked closely with stakeholders to create a signed off product in less than three weeks. We’re now working with Consignor to create a series of additional videos focused on each of their services.
5: Free sanitary products for our staff
We introduced a new policy in response to the government’s Budget announcement to abolish tampon tax which means that we now offer sanitary products to the female members of the team for free. We chose DAME as our supplier of choice because of their reusable applicators and organic and hypoallergenic organic cotton tampons.
