The last few months have been really busy at BrandContent, from welcoming new clients, to finally getting our team together in person for the first time in over a year! Here are some of our highlights from May and June:

1: Expanding into Berlin

In May, we had an exciting announcement, as we expanded overseas, starting with Berlin.

As part of the European expansion, Sophie Nicholas, PR Director, joins as our first international hire.

Sophie has 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles at global agencies such as Edelman, Weber Shandwick and FleishmanHillard. Her experience includes The European Commission, Heineken, Emirates, Expedia, and pro bono social causes such as Bloody Good Period and the Human Library.

She was part of the team awarded two Bronze Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in the Brand Voice & Strategic Storytelling categories for Heineken’s Worlds Apart Campaign.

2: Growing our team

Our new account director, Karen Allen, also joined the team in May, bringing a wealth of experience in the consumer PR sector, having worked at some of the UK’s biggest and best-known agencies.  Karen has worked on a host of well-known brands you’ll see in your kitchen and on the high street, as well as not for profits and start-ups.

3: Launching an interactive House Price Index

Over the last few months, we’ve been working with our client Principality Building Society to develop Wales’s first interactive House Price Index. The tool went live in May, and we’ve been so pleased to see the positive response the tool has had since.

The tool was designed to help people looking to buy a home in Wales to compare the cost in each Welsh region based on the average house price, average council tax costs, average salary, and life satisfaction score.

4: Spreading the news far and wide

In June we helped our client, the short-term car insurance provider Veygo, promote an offer they ran to help support people in getting to their Covid-19 vaccine appointment.

Veygo offered three hours of free insurance to anyone driving to their vaccine appointment who needed to either borrow a car, or temporarily insure their own. We landed over 110 pieces of national, regional and trade coverage for this story, helping to promote the offer far and wide.
