BrandContent June Monthly Round-Up

As we officially embark on a summer like never before and lockdown restrictions slowly start to ease across the UK, we look back on another busy month.

Here are just a few highlights from June:

1: 30 Under 30 Winner

Rachel Besenyei

Congratulations to our head of growth and social, Rachel Besenyei, who has won a prestigious spot on the PR Industry’s ’30 Under 30 Awards’ run by PR Week.

Rachel is one of just six people in the whole of the UK who has been recognised in the ‘Newcomer’ category for showing signs of a promising career ahead of her despite having less than two years’ experience working in the PR industry.

Well done Rachel, we couldn’t be prouder!

2: Newsjacking at its best

We operate an always-on newsroom for some of our clients and are regularly spotting newsjacking (a hybrid between ‘news’ and hijacking’) opportunities for them to get their brands involved in big and often breaking news conversations. We work quickly to make sure comments are turned around quickly so as not to miss the moment, and often see results in mass coverage over a very short space of time.

But newsjacking doesn’t just mean media attention one day and none the next. This month we were able to secure over 300 pieces of coverage for a client from a newsjacking comment we first issued in May.

3: Creating SEO-efficient content

Our content team has been keeping busy with a large website content project for PIB, an insurance broker group that has been on the acquisition trail. It’s seeking to create a new website to ensure it has consistent, clear messaging across its enlarged business, and we came recommended for the job.

We’ve been interviewing PIB Insurance Brokers’ sector experts to create clear, informative and SEO-efficient content, all to a tight deadline.

Get in touch with us if you need help with your web content.

4: Sharing what we’ve learnt

Working from home during lockdown has meant many companies are having a go at hosting webinars for the first time – it’s a great way to engage with clients and prospects when face-to-face events aren’t an option. But these webinars can be lifted by some expert advice on presentation and delivery. So, as well as creating content for webinars we’ve also been providing speaker training, and we’ve already seen it make a huge difference to our clients.
