BrandContent January Monthly Round-Up

From expanding our team, to getting over 210 pieces of coverage for our wonderful clients, there have been no sign of the January blues here at BrandContent. Here are five of our January highlights…

 

1: A bigger team to start 2020

Alice Lally and Rebekah Hewett

We started January by welcoming two new members to our team:

Alice Lally, former senior media and PR officer at the charity Marie Curie, joins us as an account manager, delivering PR campaigns and consultancy for clients.

Rebekah Hewett is our new PR account executive. Previously, a communications officer at housing association Trivallis, Rebekah will support the PR team and will take responsibility for delivering digital PR campaigns.


2: Sharing our broadcast know-how

Media training

Our senior account managers, Laura Jones and Zoe Paines, popped over to Admiral HQ to deliver a refresher media training course.

During the training, Laura and Zoe took on different personas and really applied the pressure to see how Admiral’s product managers would respond when asked about the most important issues in their industry – all while in front of the camera.

 

3: Upping our account management skills

We’ve started the year as we mean to go on, with some team training. It’s hard to take some time from the hurly burly, but we dedicated a day to improving our Account Management skills.

Thanks to Debra Sharron, founder of Media Sales Training, for sharing her knowledge and providing some insightful tips and advice, which will no doubt come in handy this year.

 

4:Putting our clients in the headlines (210 times…)

Urrggh, January. It can be dark and bleak.

But not here at BrandContent. This month has been as busy as ever and we even wracked-up 150 pieces of coverage for one of our clients – in just two days.

In total, our campaigns hit the headlines over 210 times in January.

 

5: Exciting new clients
