We’re excited to announce we have expanded overseas in Berlin as part of a series of big steps we’re taking to grow the agency after a record year.
As part of the European expansion, Sophie Nicholas, PR Director, joins as our first international hire.
Sophie has over 15 years’ experience leading global consumer and corporate communications strategies for brands including NATO, the European Commission, Paypal, GSK, Expedia, Unilever, Jamie Oliver, as well as supporting social causes including Bloody Good Period.
Hiring our first global PR strategist will enable us to work with businesses with ambitions to break out of the UK market. We’ll also work with those looking to enter the UK market or adjusting to the evolving landscape posed by Brexit, which requires a more complex communications approach.
Our expansion into Berlin is part of a series of growth initiatives for the agency and underlines our desire to continue to have a positive impact on the Welsh economy.
Our CEO, Sharon Flaherty, says: “Our expansion into Berlin matches the agency’s values, our experience and the type of companies we want to work with.
“Berlin is a city full of energy and fueled by entrepreneurialism. Dubbed by some as Silicon Allee, Berlin is a leading hub in Europe for tech startups and companies that are really trying to have a positive impact on our world and that aligns perfectly with our agency vision. Bringing Sophie on board with her global experience also matches our global ambitions, with the next step building out our presence in Berlin.”
“Our team already includes the country’s best talent and I’m looking forward to growing the team further both locally and internationally in the coming months.”
